entertaining Late Night Radio Band. The following were the surprised award winners; Ladies Player of the
Year-Catriona Hanmore, Minor Player of the Year-Dylan Mattimoe, U21 Player of
the Year-Enda Smith, Junior Player of the Year-Stephen Tonra, Intermediate

who won the Junior A County Championship and the Boys Minor players

special guest for the night-Donegal All-Ireland winning goalkeeper and current All Star, Paul Durcan. The Clubs are deeply endebted to Paul for
coming along, having come straight from playing for Donegal against Down
in the National Football League in Ballybofey. Following the presentation, Paul
had some well chosen words of wisdom and motivation for the medal recipients.
Club Vice President and former Chairperson Barry Feely presented a very special
picture to the Club, showing our current Club President and All Ireland
medallist John Joe Nerney with his All Ireland medal. The work was done for
Barry by local artist Conor Dowling.
This picture will adorn our Clubroom from now onwards. The Clubs are very
grateful to Barry for his thoughtfulness.
The Clubs wish to thank all involved in making the night so
successful and especially the patrons who supported the event, and also those
who donated spot prizes.
Registration for U12s and U14s will be held in the Clubroom
on this Thursday from 6.30pm to 8pm. Parents are reminded that their children
cannot be allowed train or play unless registered. The same applies to players
in all age categories from the youngest up to intermediate. The competitive
season is about to commence and it is therefore essential that registration is
completed and all team managers are obliged to ensure full compliance. All underage players are
again advised that the wearing of gumshields is now compulsory in training and
in ALL games. Gumshields
can be purchased locally.
The Club extends its best
wishes to St Brigid’s
