The U10s’
enjoyed the last of this years blitzes in Cootehall on Saturday last. The U12s’ lost to Roscommon Gaels
last week. They will be in action on Saturday next in the Abbey Community
College pitch. The ‘B’ Team will play Western
Gaels ‘B’ at 6pm while this will be
followed by the ‘A’ Team playing Oran at 7pm.
The U14s’ are
in training for their upcoming championship.
The U16s’ and
National Automation Limited minors resume training this week following
completion of exams.
The Cooney Motors/Cooneys Centra juniors had a good win over St Ronan’s in the Division 4 League
in Boyle on Friday evening last.They will meet St Michael’s in the next round in early
July.
The McGovern Directional Drilling Intermediates had a hard earned
win over Western Gaels in the O’
Gara Cup in Frenchpark on Saturday. They now have a break until mid-July. Best wishes for a speedy recovery are
extended to Kieran Supple who sustained an injury in the game.
The Club extends a sincere thank you to all who purchased County Board
Draw tickets, and thus enabling the Club to achieve its quota. Pity that we
don't have winners on this occasion. Well done to Michelle Corrigan who was our
"Tina Turner" in the "It Takes 2" competition in Roscommon
on Saturday night.
Congratulations to Stephen and Veronica Tonra on the birth of their
son Rian. Sympathy is extended to Joe McDermott, Ardagh on recent bereavement.
Hard luck on Roscommon seniors and well done to the hurlers. Good luck to Roscommon minors who take on Sligo in the Connacht Championship in Carrick on Sunday next.

The U12 Girls will play Castlerea St Kevins in the County Final in Frenchpark on Friday week the 28th.The Intermediate Girls will commence their championship campaign when they host Western Gaels in the Abbey Park on Saturday evening next at 7pm. All supporters are urged to come along to see the girls make their debut in the Intermediate grade.
