The Cooney Motors/ Cooneys Centra Juniors played Kilmore in the North B
Championship on Bank Holiday Monday. They are expected to be in action in the
Division 4 League semi final versus Clan na Gael==see fixtures.
The National Automation Limited U21s had a hard earned win over Clan na
Gael in the Division 1 Championship quarter final in Enfield on Saturday.
The U11s finally got their first outing in the Keenan Cup on Saturday last when they defeated Eire Og in incessant
rain in the Abbey Park. It is a pity that this competition has been left until
this time of year as playing in such conditions does nothing for skill
development or love of the sport. Both teams made history on Saturday
as it was the first game at which the Boyle Credit Union sponsored
scoreboard was in operation. Both sides kept the scoreboard operator very busy!
Well
done to the Minor Club for bringing the very young players to the
Compromise Rules International in Croke Park.
The Garda Cup fixtures should soon be announced for our U14 player.
The Club Lotto will be held in An Craoibhin on Saturday night next and
Team ‘C’ will be in charge.
Go raibh maith agaibh.
