The house prize was won by Michael Burke. The numbers drawn were: 4/5/6/24.The jackpot wasn’t won and it will stand at €5,300 for this Saturday night’s draw which will be held in Wynne’s Bar. Team ‘C’ will be in charge.

There will be a special meeting of the Club in the Clubroom at 8.30pm on this Wednesday night to consider the ‘Report and Recommendations of the Working Group on the Development of Gaelic Games in Co. The Senior Club AGM will be held on Saturday week 18th January at 5pm in the Clubroom. Completed nomination forms should be submitted to Club Secretary, Kathleen Hanmore by this Saturday the 11th.
The Club’s Annual Dinner Dance will be held in Kilronan Castle Hotel on Saturday night the 8th of February. The night will feature the presentation of medals to the county title winning Intermediate panel, as well as the presentation of the various 'Player of the Year' awards, the 'Club Person of the Year' and the 'Hall of Fame' award. Details of the special guest will be confirmed shortly. Tickets for what is expected to be a full-house event will be available in the coming weeks.
The Minor Club  will hold a very important meeting of coaches and potential coaches for the various underage panels on this Thursday at 8pm in the Clubroom. The Club is anxious to hear from those who might be interested in helping with the coaching and preparation of underage teams. Those interested should contact Leonard Sutton at 087 9097937.
The Minor Club AGM has been fixed for Saturday 1st February at 5pm in the Clubroom.

I (t.c.) attach the full notice from Leonard here as it outlines the requiements of the Minor Club in terms of ‘coaching’ et al more fully for 2014.

Dear Coaches and Members,
I would like to hold a meeting in the Clubhouse on Thursday evening 9th January at 8pm to discuss the appointment of coaches for this year.
Mary has kindly reviewed the player registers (except for U8's) and we anticipate the following numbers at each age group (assuming 100% of players registered in 2013 re-register in 2014):
U10 - 20 (11 from this year, 9 coming up from U8)

U12 - 20 (12 from this year, 8 coming up from U10)

U14 - 24 (14 from this year, 10 coming up from U12)

U16 - 17 (7 from this year, 10 coming up from U14)

U18 - 14 (6 from this year, 8 coming up from U16).
With the exception of U10's and U12's, all other teams require coaching appointments to be confirmed.
We will have lists of the players for each of the teams on Thursday for review and should also assess who else we think should be playing for the club (at any age group).
Of particular concern are the numbers available at the U16 and U18 levels.
****Can you please contact anyone who you feel may be interested in leading a team or assisting with coaching and invite them along on Thursday evening.****

**If anyone would like to discuss with me beforehand, please get them to contact me on 087 9097937**
The Minor Board is aiming to conclude all coaching appointments by Saturday 25th January. The Minor Board AGM is scheduled for 1st February and we will need to ratify the appointments at the meeting.
Thanks for your support
Len
