Mon. 1.30.The following were 20 euro  winners in Boyle Club Lotto most recent draw which was held in the Railway Bar, Paul Wynne, Michael O Dowd, John and Olivia Kelly, Aisling Dolan, Aine Gannon and Caroline Draper. The jackpot wasn't won and it will be at 3,900 euro for this Saturday night's draw which will be held in Clarke’s Bar. Team ‘D’ will be in charge.
Boyles U8s’ had a very enjoyable blitz last weekend.
The U10s’ will have a blitz in St Faithleach’s grounds in Ballyleague on Saturday next, commencing at 11.45pm.
The U12 teams lost their games against Roscommon Gaels and Oran during last week.
The U14s’ will commence their championship campaign on Monday next 1st July when they will take on Kilmore/Shannon Gaels in the Abbey Park at 7.30pm.
The National Automation Limited U 16s' (and not Minors as earlier posted) will also start their championship with a game against Kilmore/ Shannon Gaels on this Wednesday at 7.30pm in Kilmore.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooneys Centra juniors will play St Michael’s in the next round of the Division 4 League on Friday week the 5th of July in Cootehall.
The McGovern Directional Drilling Intermediates will have their next O’ Gara Cup action on Sunday 14th July when they will entertain St Brigids ‘B’ in Abbey Park.
Well done to Roscommon minors on their Connacht Championship win over Sligo on Sunday.
The Abbey Park will host St Michael’s and St Ronan’s in the Intermediate Championship on Saturday at 7pm. All Club members are asked to be present at 5.45pm to act as stewards.
All team managers are reminded that the main pitch is NOT to be used for training or for unofficial matches. Any use of the pitch cannot happen without the prior clearance of the pitch coordinator. This applies to all age groups.

Well done to Damian Keenehan in Melbourne whose team won the League title there.

Ladies Club.
The U12 girls suffered an agonising one goal defeat to Castlerea in their County Final in Ballinameen last week. Well don't to the girls and their management on their committment throughout the seasons.
The Intermediates suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of Western Gaels in their opening Championship game in Abbey Park on Saturday evening. The girls deserve great credit for bouncing back from a disastrous opening five minutes. It was an exciting encounter with the outcome in doubt up to the final whistle.
Thanks is extended to Shannon Gaels for hosting a very enjoyable U8 and U10 blitz on Saturday last.

Tues. 9.35 pm...... ******I have been asked to post, as a matter of priority, that Boyle girls U 12 Final will take place in BALLINAMEEN (as opposed to Frenchpark as previously posted in various areas) @6.45 tomorrow, Wed. v Castlerea. You support would be greatly appreciated.**** t.c.


Mon. 11 pm.....Our U8s had a very enjoyable blitz in Cootehall on Saturday last. The Club will host the next in the series of U8 blitzes in the Abbey Park on Saturday next at 12 noon.

The U10s enjoyed the last of this years blitzes in Cootehall on Saturday last. The U12s lost to Roscommon Gaels last week. They will be in action on Saturday next in the Abbey Community College pitch. The B Team will play Western Gaels B at 6pm while this will be followed by the A Team playing Oran at 7pm.
The U14s are in training for their upcoming championship.
The U16s and National Automation Limited minors resume training this week following completion of exams.

The Cooney Motors/Cooneys Centra juniors had a good win over St Ronans in the Division 4 League in Boyle on Friday evening last.They will meet St Michaels in the next round in early July.
The McGovern  Directional Drilling Intermediates had a hard earned win over Western Gaels in the O Gara Cup in Frenchpark on Saturday. They now have a break until mid-July. Best wishes for a speedy recovery are extended to Kieran Supple who sustained an injury in the game.

The Club extends a sincere thank you to all who purchased County Board Draw tickets, and thus enabling the Club to achieve its quota. Pity that we don't have winners on this occasion. Well done to Michelle Corrigan who was our "Tina Turner" in the "It Takes 2" competition in Roscommon on Saturday night.
Congratulations to Stephen and Veronica Tonra on the birth of their son Rian.
Sympathy is extended to Joe McDermott, Ardagh on recent bereavement.
Hard luck on Roscommon seniors and well done to the hurlers. Good luck to Roscommon minors who take on Sligo in the Connacht Championship in Carrick on Sunday next.

The U12 Girls will play Castlerea St Kevins in the County Final in Frenchpark on Friday week the 28th.The Intermediate Girls will commence their championship campaign when they host Western Gaels in the Abbey Park on Saturday evening next at 7pm. All supporters are urged to come along to see the girls make their debut in the Intermediate grade.

Mon. 1.45....The following were 20 euro winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in An Craoibhin: Jimmy Dwyer, Francis Gaffney, Matt Smith, Joe McDermott, Michael Bermingham and Michael Hunt. The house prize was won by Phil Emmett. The jackpot wasn't won and it will be at 3,800 euro for this Saturday night's draw which will be held in the Railway Bar. Team C will be in charge.

Our U8s are scheduled for a blitz evening in Cootehall on Monday evening.
The U10s will have the last in their series of blitzes for the season on Saturday next in Cootehall.
The U12s lost to St Dominics in the league on Sunday in Boyle. They are scheduled to play Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult in their next outing in this competition on Saturday evening next at 6.30pm.
The U14s lost to Tulsk in the league. They will have no further outings until July.
The U16s and Minors are exam tied and we hope that all is going well for them in those exams.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooneys Centra juniors will take on St Ronans in the junior championship on Friday evening in Boyle at 8pm.
The McGOVERN Directional Drilling Intermediates will play Western Gaels B in the O Gara Cup on Saturday evening next in Frenchpark at 8pm.
This is the final week for opportunity to purchase your ticket for the County Board Draw which will take place on Saturday night next. All Club members and those interested in supporting Gaelic games in Boyle are strongly urged to buy a ticket or a shared ticket. The Club must sell a pre- determined quota.Tickets may be obtained from any Club officer.
Best wishes are extended to Roscommon seniors and our club reps. (It is always great to have the club represented on county teams esp. the senior team) who will take on Mayo in the Connacht Championship on Sunday next in Castlebar.

Boyle U12 girls had a hard earned win over Eire Og in Loughglynn last week in the County semi final. They await details of their County Final. The Intermediate girls will commence their championship on Saturday week 22nd against Western Gaels in Boyle.

Sun. 10.45. Boyle's U10 mixed Community Games footballers bowed out of this year’s competition at Ballyleague on Sunday when they lost out to Kiltoom Cam. Thanks to all involved with this panel. The U10s’ will have a football blitz in Ballinameen on Bank Holiday Monday.

The U12s’ will also be in action on the Bank Holiday in Strokestown against the home team. They will play St Dominics in the next round of the Spring League on Sunday next in  the  Abbey College pitch at 12noon.
The U14s’ will play Tulsk  in the Division 2 League on Thursday at 7 pm in the College Field.
There will be no action for the U16s’ or the National Automation Limited minors until the exams are completed. The Club extends its best wishes to our players who will be sitting their Junior and Leaving Certificate exams in the coming weeks.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooneys Centra juniors  play St Ronans in the Division 4 League on the weekend of 14th/15th.
The McGovern Directional Drilling Intermediates will play Western Gaels ‘B’ in the O Gara Cup on Sat. the 15th of June.
There is now less than 2 weeks within which tickets may be purchased for the  County Board Draw. Those who haven't been contacted are asked to contact any of the Club officers.
Thanks is extended to all who assisted in the loading of the lorry which collected the bags of clothing, thus bringing the Cash for Clobber campaign to an end.
