Sun 26th @ 11.55 pm. The following were 20  euro winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in Dodds Bar;- Jimmy Dwyer, Colm Loftus, James and Marian Cox, Padraig Daly, Tracey and Jeremy Mulrennan and Mary Moran. The house prize was won by Eileen Brennan. The jackpot wasn't won and it will be at 3,700 euro for this Saturday night's draw which will be held in An Craoibhin, with Team B in charge.
Our U12s had a good win over Padraig Pearses on Friday in the Abbey Park. See fixtures for details of next outing.
The U14s lost to Elphin in the Division 1 League last Thursday. They will play Kilmore/Shannon Gaels in their next outing on Thursday in Kilmore at 7pm. The Club played hosts to an U14 panel and their management from Dulwich  Harps on Friday evening. The London boys won a challenge game against our lads which was played on a fine summers evening. The Dulwich lads were managed by Castlerea native Pat Winston.
There are no fixtures scheduled for our U16s or our National Automation Limited minors.

The Cooney Motors/ Cooneys Centra juniors will commence their Junior A championship in July. They are still awaiting news of their fixtures in the revamped junior league.

The McGovern Directional Drilling Intermediates have become the first qualifiers for the championship quarter finals following their good win over St Brigid’s in Kiltoom on Sunday in their second championship outing. The score Boyle 2.12 to St. Brigids 0.9. It was a pretty convincing win though Brigid’s were somewhat depleted by defection to their senior side the evening before.  The top scorer was Cian Smith who is playing very well this season. They will have a championship break until their next outing against St Barry's in August. They will have their next league outing on 15th June against Western Gaels 'B'. Promotion to the Division 1 is pretty important at this stage of this team’s development but Boyle have at least two major obstacles in Castlerea and Pearses who are looking impressive at this time. The gap in the C'Ship has been debated over the years and it seems as if the fixtures cannot be adapted.
Members, players and supporters are asked to purchase full or part shares in the County Board Draw tickets, which may be obtained from Club officers.

The Abbey Park will be closed for the coming week as the goalmouths and bare areas are being resodded and repaired.
The U10 Community Games team had a good win over Loughglynn during the past week.

The Club extends its congratulations to the Boyle U14 Community Games Quiz team which won the All Ireland Title in Athlone at the weekend. Thanks is extended to Aaron Sharkey of the Moylurg  Inn for kind sponsorship of gloves for the Intermediate panel.
Sympathy is extended to the Lannon and Emmett families on their recent bereavements.
Go raibh maith agaibh.

Club members will be required to act as stewards for those games and all are asked to follow instructions from a text message which will be issued nearer the event.

Our U14s lost out to Eire Og in a high scoring game played in windy conditions in Loughglynn on Saturday. The home team got off to a dream start but credit is due to the Boyle lads for clawing their way back into the game. However, the deficit was too great to overcome and Eire Og ran out deserving winners. Boyle Club wishes the Eire Og player who was injured a speedy recovery. Boyle will play St Aidans in the next round of the Division 2 League in Ballyforan on this Thursday at 7pm.
Our U16s will play Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult on Friday evening at 7.30pm in the Division 1 Championship.
The National Automation Limited minors suffered a three points defeat to Clan na Gael in Johnstown last week. They will have no further action until August.
We wish well, all our underage players who will  be undertaking exams in the coming month.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooneys Centra juniors didn't have their scheduled game at the weekend and they await news of further fixtures.
Tickets are still available for the forthcoming County Board Draw.
The Club extends its sympathy to the Coen family, Lisserdrea on the sad passing of Michael Coen (Junior).
