The U16s, under the new management of Mike (Junior) Smith lost out to St Dominics on Sunday. We wish Jnr. And the team well for the remainder of the season. It is vital that teams participate in all age groups in fairness to those who are really interested in doing so. I’m sure that with everyone’s support and encouragement Jnr. & co. will do well.

The Cooney Motors/ Cooney's Centra juniors are in preparation for their next league outing against Elphin on Sunday week the 10th of May.

Our U16s failed to muster a team to play Oran on Saturday evening last. It is deeply disappointing that this should re-occur with this panel. It is to hoped that parents would take more responsibility in ensuring that their sons display a greater  sense of loyalty to their playing colleagues and those who devote so much voluntary time and effort to coaching. The U16s are due to commence their championship campaign against St Dominics in Knockcroghery on this Thursday at 7pm. A full attendance is eseential.
