(It has been suggested to me that there is not enough coverage of Ladies Footall activities here. So if we get more material we will certainly post same. I am a big advocate of the Ladies game though- I must admit- I do not get to see a lot of their games). t.c.

The following were €20 winners at the most recent Boyle Club Lotto draw which was held in The Moylurg Inn recently;- Joe Sweeney (Brislagh), Joseph McDermott, Tommy and Monica King, Tom and Deirdre Kearney, Gerry and Carmel Tivnan, Marty Parker, Brendan O'Connor, John McGuinn (Snr),Caroline Burke and Ronan Garvin. The jackpot wasn't won and it will stand at €1,300 for the next draw which will be held in An Craoibhin on Saturday night next. Team C will be in charge.
It has been a busy week on the playing field, with mixed results being achieved.
The U10 Community Games team had a good win over Elphin in the Abbey Park on Sunday evening on a scoreline of 3 4 to 2 3. The panel includes Darragh Cregg, David Flanagan, Oisin Sheerin, Luke Fitzhenry, Ethan Kearns, Luke McGrath, Niall O''Donnell, Shane McMorrow, Brian O;Connor, Stephen O'Connor, Daniel Casey, Kevin Beirne, Seth Meredith, Conor McPhearson, Lorcan Connolly and Gavin O'Connor. It was great to see U16 County panellist taking up the role of referee and doing an excellent job.
The U12s' lost away to Fuerty on Sunday. See fixtures for next Sunday's fixture.
The U14s lost narrowly to Eire Og in horrendous conditions in the Abbey Park on Thursday evening last. They will make the long journey to Woodmount to play Padraig Pearses on this Thursday evening.
The U16s and the National Automation Limited minors are currently exam tied.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooney's Centra lost to Elphin in the Orchard Park on Monday last in the Tansey Cup. The game featured the re-appearance of the evergreen Bernie Shannon.
The Club extends best wishes for a speedy return to action of Elphin's Shane Killoran who sustained an injury in that game.
The McGovern Directional Drilling intermediate team travel to Kiltoom on Saturday next to take on St Brigid's 7.30pm, Their scheduled game with Oran on Satturday last was postponed as a mark of respect to the late Bill Corcoran, Oran.
The Club extends it's sympathy to the Corcoran family and to the Oran Club, and also to the Noone family, Keadue on the death of Mrs Kathleen Noone.
All outstanding County Draw tickets (sold or unsold) must be returned to Club officers by this Thursday evening, as the County draw will take place on the following week.
The U8s' will participate in a football blitz in Hyde Park on Saturday.
