The Club is extremely anxious to recover six Cooney Motors/ Cooney's Centra jersies which have been missing since the team's last outing against Michael Glaveys. It is essential that they are found as their absence renders the set useless. This is a mystery and we'd very much like to solve it so we ask people to keep an eye out in the relevant scenarios. Any info. re. same to Bernard Shannon or any club officer.
The National Automation Limited U21s got their Division 1 Championship campaign off to a winning start with a three point victory over Castlerea St Kevins in winterly conditions in the Abbey Park on Sunday. It was great to see Kyle McLoughlin back in Club action, performing a mentoring role with the U21s. Their next outing in this competition will be a visit to Roscommon to play Roscommon Gaels on the weekend of 10th/11th November.
The Club wishes Castlerea goalkeeper a speedy recovery from an injury sustained in Sunday's game.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooney's Centra team will play Kilmore in the North  Junior B Semi Final on Saturday in Elphin at 2.30pm.
Details of Boyle's first outing in the Garda Cup will be notified within next few days. It is understood that they have received a bye into the second round.
The Club extends its best wishes to Fergal O'Donnell on his ratification as County Minor Manager for 2013.
Ladies Club
The Minor girls play their second Championship fixture on Bank Holiday Monday in the Abbey Park-result next week.
The Club is required to have all tickets and remittances for the County Board draw returned by 27th November.
