Mon. 2 am. The following were €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held recently in the Moylurg Inn;- Cathal and Mary McGee, Finbar Feely, Donal Kelly, Padraig Roddy, Paul Simon, Cian McLoughlin, Martina Furey, Josie Daly, Deirdre Davitt and Fiona Keenan. The house prize was won by Padraig Muldoon. The jackpot wasn't won and it will be at €2,400 for next Saturday night's draw which will be held in Dodd's Bar. Team D will be in charge.

There was no activity on the playing fields during the past week. The National Automation Limited U21s are in preparation for their Division 1 County Semi-Final which is scheduled for the 9th of December against opposition that is yet to be determined.

The Club is planning to start "The Gathering" in advance of the official commencement when it will welcome home many former players, supporters and friends to it big social event of the year-the annual Christmas Quiz, which will be held in St Joseph's Hall on 28th December.

Congratulations to St Brigids on retaining their Connacht Senior Club title on Sunday with a polished display especially in the second half. While many  of these games, at this time of year fail to live up to expectations or hopes rather this was one where both teams are to be commended on their approach to playing top class football without displays of niggardly rancour.

Well done to Boyle Musical Society on their as usual excellent show-"The Producers".

The Club wishes Donal Smith every success as nominee for U21 Player of the Year. The winner will be announced at the upcoming Roscommon Supporters Club banquet.

The Club extends its sympathy to the Neary family, Callow, Frenchpark on the sad passing of former Ballinameen player Benny Neary, and to the Roddy families Grange and Finisklin on the death of Mrs Rita Burke, Carrick on Shannon.

The Club thanks those who assisted in the church gate collection at the weekend for the ISPCC and to all who contributed a substantial sum to this very worthy cause.

Go raibh maith agaibh,
