Ladies Club;
The highlight of the weekend was the victory in the semi-final of the County Junior A Championship over Western Gaels in a keenly contested game in Ballinameen on Saturday evening last. This was a cracking all-action match with fine sores, great pace, endevour and fitness levels. Boyle 2.6 to 0.5 had a good lead at half time but Western Gaels came back strongly at the beginning of the second half and it took a fine goal by the ever dangerous Breege McGowan to put daylight between the sides again. The final score (if I'm right) was Boyle 3.8 Western Gaels 1.10. Best for Boyle included McGowan, McDermott, Gaffney but there were many fine players, on both sides, in this entetaining encounter.

Their County Final opponents will be Castlerea and this game is scheduled for Saturday week September the19th, but no time or venue has yet been notified.

U 14 Girls:
Boyle U14 Girls had two successful outings during the past week with victories over Michael Glavey's and Eire Og. Their next game is away to St Dominic's on Sunday next in Knockcroghery at 7pm.
