U 14s' and Juniors:
The U 14s’ boys take part in the Division One Final at Tulsk at 3.30 pm. against their nemesis Strokestown. Strokestown captured the Garda Cup with a good victory over Western Gaels at a sun-drenched Abbey Park on Saturday. The Feelystone Juniors play Tulsk in Croghan at 12 noon on Sunday in the Junior championship Northern Semi-Final.

Intermediates Maintain Status:
The McGovern Directional Drilling Intermediate team secured Intermediate Championship status for next year by virtue of their relegation win over Kilglass Gaels at Croghan on Saturday. Their last game, the O’Gara Cup Final versus Roscommon Gaels, will possibly take place on Saturday, September the 26th. The Abbey Park hosted the Intermediate Semi-Final last Sunday between St. Dominick’s and Eire Og with St. Dominick’s the victors. The Club thanks all the stewards and helpers on the day. St. Ronan’s versus Western Gaels play their Junior ‘B’ Championship Semi-Final game there on Saturday evening next.
Well done to Colin, Luke and Eoin who were part of the Roscommon U 14 Development Squad at Tubbercurry Blitz, last week. Bernie Shannon is also one of the coaches with this squad.

The Annual All-Ireland ticket fund-raising draw has proved most successful once again. Well done to all buyers, sellers and especially to Michael Gilmartin who put in such an effort in its organisation. The winners were: First, All-Ireland tickets plus, Tom Sharkey, Knockarush, Boyle; 2nd Ciaran O’Connor, Boyle; 3rd Sharon- Daly Conroy, Boyle and 4th prize went to Rachael Lavin, Boyle. Best wishes to Gareth Gilmartin who represents the club and county in Croke Park on Sunday as part of the schools’ games promotion.
