I've had a text from Theresa Kenoy asking me to support the Kilglass effort to win a €100,000 pitch makeover from Kellogs. You can support it if you log onto www.kellogs.ie/field of dreams and register your vote or text Kellogs to connacht to 53799 (Also asked by my pal Seamus Nugent). For the details look at page 2 Sport the Roscommon Herald. So spread the word there. It would be good to give Seamus and co a lift.
Tues. 9.30am: Two big games this week-end. The Intermediates play St. Dominick's on Sat. in Tulsk at 5 and the U 16s' contest the County 'A' final on Sunday evening in Hyde Park at 6.45. If Boyle could win this final it would be the first time since the team of James Dodd, Sean Daly, Jnr. Dooley, Freddie Daly, Gerry Carty -1970 or so- and co to win an U 16 'A' final. We did an 'A' under 12 in 1996 with Roch, and Killian with a K Egan, Ml. O'Dowd, Lee McKilleen and co. Hopefully there will be great support for the teams this week end.
