Pride of place goes this week to Conor Tivnan, Caoimhe Morris and Jack Morris who performed excellently in the Instrumental Music competition in the Scor na nOg semi- final in Ballyleague on Friday night last. They will represent the Club in the County Finals in the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone on Sunday 12th December. Those wishing to attend the county finals should book directly with the venue at www.deancrowetheatre.com immediatly as only a limited number of seats remain.

The Minor Board AGM will be held in the Clubroom on this Thursday night, Dec. 2nd at 8pm. Parents of the underage players are asked to go along and see what happens behind the scenes in the running of the Club. There should be no fear of being allocated duties to those attending for the first time.

Congratulations to Pat Goldrick on being elected County Minor Board Vice-Chairperson. Thanks to the many Club members who braved the arctic conditions to conduct the church-gate collection on behalf of the ISPCC at the weekend. Congratulations to David Casey and Sean Purcell on receiving their well deserved Connacht Senior Championship medals on Saturday night last and to Ciaran Cox on receiving his Connacht U21 Championship medal. We hope that they will add to their collections in the coming year. The Club congratulates Ciaran and Colm O'Connor, Tom Ryan and John Moore who all celebrated their "first significant" birthdays at the weekend. Members and supporters are reminded to put the date for the annual Christmas Quiz, in the Moving Stairs on Wednesday December 29th in their Christmas diary.
