Mon. early….The following were €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in Daly's Bar;- Seamus Cooney, Bernie and Maurice Mullins, Christy Grehan, Cormac Levis and Gerard Mullen. The house prize was won by Laura Swikubrve. The numbers drawn were 1/9/16/18.The jackpot wasn't won and it will be at €3,500 for the next draw which will be held in the Moylurg Inn on Saturday night next. Team E will be in charge.

The U14s’ will have two games this week in the Division 2 League. They will play Western Gaels on this Tuesday evening at 7pm in Frenchpark and they will host St Faithleachs in the Abbey Park on Thursday evening, also at 7pm.

The U16s, under the new management of Mike (Junior) Smith lost out to St Dominics on Sunday. We wish Jnr. And the team well for the remainder of the season. It is vital that teams participate in all age groups in fairness to those who are really interested in doing so. I’m sure that with everyone’s support and encouragement Jnr. & co. will do well.

The National Automation Limited minors are awaiting confirmation of their outstanding league fixtures.

The Cooney Motors/ Cooney's Centra juniors are in preparation for their next league outing against Elphin on Sunday week the 10th of May.

The McGovern Directional Drilling Intermediates continued their winning ways when overcoming a below par Eire Og in the Abbey Park on Sunday, and they remain at the top of their league table.They will play unbeaten Padraig Pearses on Saturday evening May 4th, in the Abbey Park at 6.30pm. The other teams they have still to play are Castlerea Senior Championship team and both the St. Brigid’s and Clann second teams. So next week-end’s game v Pearses is a crucial game to get nearer to the O’Gara Cup play-offs.

The Minor Board annual church gate collection will take place after all Masses this coming weekend. Your generosity will be appreciated as the proceeds will help defay the costs associated with the coaching and running of panels of players ranging from under 8 to 18.

The County Board Draw tickets are available from all Club officers and sales are progressing satisfactorily.

Congratulations are extended to Enda Smith who was the worthy winner of the DCU "Fresher of the Year" footballer award.

Congratulations also to the St Dominics ballad group and the Clan na Gael tráth na gceist team who both took home All Ireland titles to the County from the National Scór Final in Derry on Saturday night.

The Club extends its best wishes to Sean Young and John Joe Nerney who are convalescing at this time.

 Sympathy is extended to the Byrne family, Forest View on the sad passing of Siobhán.

Boyle Ladies;

The U12 Girls had an exciting one point win over Castlerea St Kevin’s in their championship game played in a wet and windy Abbey park on Friday evening last.

Thanks is extended to Pat Brogan-Brogan's and Natural Options Pharmacies for sponsorship of first aid kits for the girls. This is in addition to their generous sponsorship of the Club Lotto envelopes. Best wishes are extended to the Roscommon Ladies who will play Offaly in the National League Division 4 Final on Saturday next.

Go raibh maith agaibh,
