Mon. 9.15 am. It was a quiet week on the playing fields for Boyle Club.
The McGovern Directional Drilling teams Division 2 League game versus Fuerty which was due to have been played on Saturday evening last was postponed. This fixture will now double up with Boyle's Intermediate Championship fixture with Fuerty in a few weeks time.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooney's Centra juniors will be in championship action next weekend-see fixtures.
All roads will lead to Croke Park on Sunday next when Roscommon's minors will take on Kerry in the All Ireland Minor Football Quarter Final at 12 noon. All GAA supporters in the area are asked to make the journey and support this very promising team and especially our Club representatives -joint Captain Enda Smith and Tadhg McKenna and Brian Furey as well as the Boyle representatives in the team management and backroom. Patrons are advised to purchase their tickets immediatly as they are likely to be in great demand for this very attractive three game programme in Croke Park.
The Club extends its congratulations to Louise and Shane on the birth of their baby daughter.
Go raibh maith agaibh,
Martin Dolan/t.c.
