The following were €20 winners in the most recent Club Lotto
draw which was held in the Railway Bar;- John Finneran, Marian McGovern, Marie
Lavin, Ernie Keenan, Vincent McDonagh, Pat Kennedy, Darren Battles, Sinead
Battles, Teresa Keane and Cathal Horan. The house prize was won by Sharon
Gallagher. The jackpot wasn't won and it will stand at €1,600 for this week's
draw which will be held in Clarke's Bar on Saturday night next. Team D will be
in charge.
There will be an important Club meeting on this Thursday
night at 9pm in the Clubroom. All members are asked to attend.The McGovern Directional Drilling team lost to St Brigids in the O'Gara Cup on Wednesday last in Kiltoom. They will play Fuerty in the Abbey Park on Saturday evening next at 8pm in their next outing in this competition.
The Cooney Motors/Cooney's Centra team is in preparation for their Junior ‘B’ Championship opener which will be played on the August weekend.
Tickets are available from Club officers for the Roscommon County Board Race Day in Roscommon on 7th August. Club members and friends are encouraged to go along in big numbers for what will be a great social event as well as a fundraiser for the County Board.
Congratulations are extended to Roisin and Kevin Mullen on the birth of their baby boy.
The Club extends its sympathy to the O'Sullivan the Shannon and McNulty families on recent bereavements.
