 Mon. 1,15 am. The AGM of Boyle Men's GAA Club will be held in the Clubroom on Sunday next 20th January at 5pm. It is essential that all Club members and players and mentors make a special effort to attend.
Tickets are selling rapidly for the Boyle GAA (Men and Ladies) Dinner Dance which will be held in Kilronan Castle Hotel on Saturday 9th February. Tickets are available from the following; Karen Brogan, Mary Clifford, Martin Dolan, Laura Gannon, Kathleen Hanmore, Sabrina Kerins, Emer Killilea, Aidan Lavin, Vivienne Moran and Mary Smith. Contact details for the aforementioned are available on the Club's blog on Realboyle.com or the Club's GAA Facebook page. The Dinner Dance will have as special guest a current All-Star player. Presentations of medals will be made on the night to the Boyle minor panel who were runners-up in the County Minor Division 1 Championship, as well as the announcement and presentations of the annual player of the year, club person of the year and haal of fame awards.Both Clubs will provide a special opportunity to purchase tickets in the Clubroom on Friday evening next 17th January from 8pm to 9pm.
 
The sympathy of the Club is extended to Mrs Ursula Beirne , Ballymore on the death of her brother and to the Toolan family, Cloonloo on the death of Joseph Toolan.
 Boyle Ladies Club.
There was a large and enthusiastic attendance at Boyle Ladies Football Club AGM which was held in the Clubroom on Sunday. Chairperson Laura Gannon paid tribute to all who contributed to the achievement of the Club's most successful year to date which culminated in the achievement of Intermediate Champoinship status following the winning of the County Junior A title. She thanked all players, managers, parents and sponsors. Outgoing Secretary Emer Killelea furnished a deatiled report on the year's activities.She noted that the Club participated with distinction at U12, U14, U16, Minor and Junior levels, reaching County Semi Finals at U12 and U14 and reaching the U16 Final, and culminating with the County Junior A Title and the Junior team having a victory over Mayo opposition in the first round of the Connacht Championship and going down narrowly to Sligo opposition in the Connacht Semi Final.Other highlights mentioned included an underage blitz in Croke Park. The meeting noted that County Title medals would be presented the successful Junior A panel at the joint Boyle GAA Clubs Dinner Dance in Kilronan Castle on Saturday 9th February and all panel members are asked to attend. The Treasurer Karen Brogan reported on the cost of running an ever growing club and she paid a warm tribute to the Club's willing sponsors and to those who helped in fundraising. Tributes were paid to Secretary Emer Killelea who stepped down from her post.  The following officers were elected for the coming year;- Chairperson- Laura Gannon, Vice Chair-Vivienne Moran, Secretary-Sinead Keenehan, Assistant Secretaries- Sharon Conroy and Sinead Cummins, P.R.O.-Martin Dolan, Treasurer- Karen Brogan, Asst Treasurer-Majella Dodd , Registrar-Sabrina Kerins, Childrens' Officer-Caroline Carty, County Board Delegates-John Cummins, Sinead Keenehan and Sinead O'Donohoe, Proxy to Co Board-Emer Killelea.
The following team managers were appointed-U12- Adrian Brogan, Sabrina Kerins, Mary Duggan and Denise Ryan, U14- Sinead Cummins plus others to be decided, U16- Pat Leonard, Mary Flynn and Regina McLoughlin, Minor- Sarah Keenehan and Sinead O'Donohoe, Intermediate-to be decided.
