The Club wishes to advise that a jacket, a lady's scarf and a bottle of wine were left behind in St Joseph's Hall following our successful quiz on 28th December. Those items can be obtained from Aidan Lavin at 087 2677865.
The Club extends its sympathy to the Brennan and Connaughton families, Ballymore on the death of Frank Brennan and to the McEvoy and Mc Keon families on the sad passing of Ann McEvoy, formerly of Leam, Boyle.
Congratulations are extended to Club players Cianan Conboy and Brian Supple and their respective fiances on their recent engagements. The Club congratulates Darren O' Connor on securing his first competitive outing with Roscommon seniors in the FBD League game on Sunday last.
Boyle Ladies
The Ladies Club will hold its AGM in the Clubroom on Sunday next January 13th at 5pm.. The Club has had its most successful year to date, having achieved promotion to Intermediate status by virtue of winning the County Junior A Championship last year. The Club participated, with commendable success, in almost all the underage competitions. The number of age categories and the number of teams to be serviced is placing a substantial burden on the small group of dedicated officials and mentors and it would be greatly appreciated if those who have an interest in progressing ladies football in Boyle, would become involved. The Club appeals especially to parents and past and present players from the male club to provide assistance in coaching and management. Those who would like to assist are asked to contact Laura Gannon at 085 7298343 in advance of the AGM.
