Mon. 3.15 P.M......Dia dhibh, (A salutation often used by Sean Og O Ceallachain in introducing the Sunday night GAA results programme on Radio Eireann for decades.) Sean Og, who I (t.c.) happened to know a little, passed away over the week-end. )

The house prize was won by Catherine Walsh. The jackpot wasn't won and it will stand at €3,000 for the next draw which will be held in Kate Lavin’s. Pat Goldrick's team will be in charge.

The Club sends it best wishes to Donie Smith and his DCU colleagues in the Sigerson Cup Finals next weekend in Athlone.
Sympathy is extended to the Dwyer family, Hanley Avenue, on the death of Sean Dwyer and to the Tully family, Slatta on the passing of Tom, former Garda in Boyle, whose son Clem played underage football with Boyle.

Subject: GUMSHIELDS OFFER
Just a quick reminder with registration nights coming up and beyond that point, to stress the importance of providing gumshields for our own up and coming players. This is a great initiative for a club to take, as while holding and supplying a healthy stock of gumshields that we can provide to you in your own club colours, you are being pro-active as a club in your community and passing on a savings to the child’s parents. HOW? Elverys Sports are in a position to provide your club with a CE standard boil & bite mouth guard at a great discounted price of €3.99 (normally retailing in our stores for €5.99) for a minimum purchase of 25 units. Both Junior & senior sizes are available. Please do not hesitate in contacting me directly to avail of this great offer, or in connection with anything else your club may require as you get ready for the season ahead. i.e. Jerseys/Equipment etc Yours in Sport  Shane
