Great Game at Tuam:
Hard luck to the Rossies senior team on their narrow defeat, after an excellent performance, against Galway on Sunday. The Boyle trio of David Casey, Damien Keenehan and Sean Purcell did very well. It was a strong Galway team. Ros. seem to be struggling in the fullback line, midfield and in the full back line at the moment!! Whether they have the resources to reinforce those areas is the question for the future. The sight of Galway's Barry Cullinane fetching a lot of ball towards the end, almost uncontested, was disappointing. One thing though, there is great spirit in the team and the first four games of the year have been most enjoyable. Good luck to all in the National League versus Offaly on Sunday next. Congratulations to the U21s on retaining the Hastings Cup.

Best Wishes:
Best wishes for a speedy recovery from illness is extended to our former Parish Priest, and GAA stalwart, Canon Peadar Lavin. Similarly we extend our best wishes to David Siggins who was injured in a car accident on Friday night last and who is currently hospitalised with injuries.

Sympathy:
The Club extends its sympathy to the Supple family, Garrow on their recent bereavement.
