There was no Jackpot winner at the Club draw in Lavin's last Saturday night. The numbers drawn were; 14/18/23/26. The €20 winners were; Vincent Flanagan/Martin Purcell/John and Patricia Cummins/ Canon Gerry Hanly/Sandra McCrann/Martin Wynne/Liam Conroy/Martin Boston/Maria McPadden/Mary Brady and Maureen McQuaid. Minor Board Meeting:
There will be a meeting of the Minor Club on Monday next, February the 8th, in The Royal Hotel at 9 pm. Garda vetting forms for trainers et al, for forwarding to the County Board, are to be completed. This is an important and necessary issue now. Also insurance officer Ml. Furey will attend the meeting and has 'a few isssues he would like to highlight'. Sounds ominous! There was also a mention at the County Board meeting of a night for registration 'on-line training' in Boyle recently. Registrar Mary Clifford was surprised she wasn't made aware of this for whatever reason.
