Per. the Minor Board Secretary, Charlie Candon: Roscommon coaching personell with Roscommon Sports Partnership are running a number of 'Code of Ethics and Best Practise' courses which are now I think mandatory for people involved in under-age coaching. They are part of the football foundation award courses. The one in Boyle takes place in the Abbey Community College at 7 pm on Tuesday March 2nd with a fee of €10 per person. Willie Hegarty Roscommon GAA Games Manager is the man to contact at www.gaaroscommon.ie/coaching.
There is a great response to the Bowling Night with a big number of teams down even now, and more to come. The time sheet for teams will be posted here anon so it up to every team captain to make appropriate arrangements. The presentations will take place in the Moylurg afterwards in what is being promoted as a Pre-Oscar Party Night since the Young family and Boyle interest will be looking towards the Oscars on the Sunday night. This celebration is open to all of course, so spread the word.
