Lotto: The following were €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in Daly's Bar; John Carroll, John and Margeurita Nally, Aidan Sheerin, Carmel and Gerard Tivnan, Phonsie O'Connor, Ciaran Beirne, J. Egan, The Daly Girls, Cyril Coen and Michael Mattimoe. The house prize was won by Sarah Jane Daly. There was no jackpot winner and there will br a jackpot of €3,400 available for this Saturday night's draw which will be held in the Moylurg Inn. Team E will be in charge.
The U12s’ lost their games to St Dominick’s on Sunday in Knockcroghery. They will entertain Clan na Gael in the Abbey Park on Sunday with the ‘A’ team in action at 11.30 and the ‘B’ team throwing in at 12.45.
The U14s’ lost to St Ciaran’s in Fuerty on Thursday in the Division 1 League. They will play Clan na Gael in the Abbey Park on this Thursday at 7pm.
The U16s’ had a comprehensive win over Castlerea in the Division 1 League semi-final in Boyle on Sunday. They will meet St Croan’s in the final which will be played after the Junior Cert exams are completed.
The National Automation minor team will also be out of action until after the exams.
The McGovern Directional Drilling Intermediate team had a good win against a strong St Dominick’s side in the first round of the Intermediate Championship on Sunday in Elphin. This was a good team performance and it will need to be repeated on Sunday next as they travel to Loughglynn to play Eire Og in the next round of the championship at 1pm. Eire Og will be coming off a victory over St Michael’s so they won't lack confidence.
The Club wishes to express its gratitude to Aaron Sharkey and Kevin Tiernan of the Moylurg Inn for their generous sponsorship of polo shirts for the senior panel. Congratulations to Barry Greaney and Aaron O'Connor and the Abbey Community College panel which won the Connacht Colleges Junior title with an excellent victory over Strokestown in the final in Elphin on Friday last. They had beaten Foxford Community School in the semi final of this competition on the previous Friday.
The Club extends its sympathy to Danny Burke, Castlerea on the recent death of his brother.

Boyle Ladies Club;
The U12s continue training on Mondays and Fridays . The U14 girls will play St Croans on this Friday evening in the Abbey Park at 7pm. They will train on Wednesday evening in the Warren pitch. The Junior Ladies are awaiting the fixing of their League Final. They will commence their Championship campaign this coming weekend when they will play St Mary's-see fixtures for details.
