Monday 3.00am (after watching The New York Giants just scrape past The New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. It was a pretty technical game with not much real drama. The again perhaps I'm wrong.I used to be indecisve but now I'm not so sure)
The following were the €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in the Railway Bar on Saturday week last;-Christy Dolan, Vincent McDonagh, Aidan Sheerin, Michael and Sheila Furey, Stephen Langan, Michael Walsh, Christy Wynne, Frank Kearns, Noel Sharkey and Cathal Brown. The house prize was won by John Duignan. The numbers drawn were 8/13/15/19. There was no jackpot winner. The jackpot will be €5,300 for this Saturday night's draw which will be held in Clarke's Bar. Team ‘D’ will be in charge. We thank Brogan’s & natural Options for their sponsorship.
The Minor Club AGM will be held in the Clubroom on Wednesday 15th February at 8pm.
County Board delegates are advised that there will be a County Board meeting on this Wednesday night in Roscommon at which the championship draws for the year will be made.
The Club extends its congratulations to Ann and Gary Wynne on the birth of their son Thomas Patrick.

Congratulations are also extended to the North Roscommon Athletics Club on the successful staging of the All Ireland Cross Country Championships in the Forest Park on Saturday last. It is testament to their dedication and that of the County Roscommon Athletics Association that it was given the honour of hosting this major event in the Forest Park for the second time in two years.

The Club extends best wishes for a speedy recovery to Jim Suffin who sustained a football injury at the weekend. Damien Keenehan showed he retains his fine football ability when donning the maroon again in the challenge v Ballinamore.
Well done to Roscommon, for whom Seanie Purcell did very well, on their League win over Tipperary in Kiltoom on Saunday last. It must have been one of the smallest crowds at a first Roscommon League game in a long time but if you schedule your game against the potential attraction of Ireland v Wales in rugby then something is going to give. Next week Roscommon play Offaly away. Offaly were well beaten by Longford this week end so it is has potential for Ros.
