Wed. 8.50 pm.
1. The team worked hard today in Mullingar and I am told they had some fun despite the difficult collecting environment out there. I will post a ‘night watchman pic. in a short while.
2. If you are an early bird then tune in to R.T.E. 2FM ‘Breakfast with Hector’ which begins at 7am.I am told he will be talking to Thursday’s captain Margaret O’Neill at 7.15 am. The team move from Mullingar through Kinnegad to Moy Valley tomorrow.
3. There will be a short meeting, tomorrow night Thurs. at 9pm, to discus arrangements for the big Dublin week-end push on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning before the game and after the game. Some ‘briefing notes’ for the week end will be posted here afterwards. It is a tremendous effort by so many people and of course there is the hard core whose contribution is above and beyond the call of duty.
4. The call is still out for people to contact their friends in Dublin to lend a hand for whatever period of time they may be able to give at the week-end. We would like the St. Brendan’s lads to let us know what their position is and anyone else available. R.O’D. and co. please copy.
