Fri. 11am.
*** Boyle GAA are looking for more people to join the Lotto teams. The Lotto is the club's lifeblood. There are people who have been doing the Lotto for years. We have lost people like Karl Keenan snd some others. As somone who is on a team and while it is not something I enjoy, I realise its importance and also when one gets stuck into it, on the night, it is not such an intimidating gig. People are generally very good and the bars deserve great credit for their hosting. So come on it means just 4/5 bars, with someone else, once every ten weeks. People who could surely come on board are team members.Give me a ring and I'll pass it on
While on tha matter it would be good and encouraging for the club to see younger members at meetings expressing their opinions. There were just a few at the A.G.M. but they were very polite. New blood is always vital.
Lotto: At Saturday night's draw in Clarke's there was no jackpot winner of the €2,500. The numbers drawn were 4/17/18/28. The €20 winners were Deirdre Purcell/Aaron O'Connor/Perpetua McGee/John&Margaurita Nally/Peter Gavican/Monica Daly/Maura Shannon/Ethan O'Flaherty/Sean Simon/Fergal Quinn. The House Prize was won by Carmel McMaster. The next draw will take place in The patrick's Well on the 29th of January with Team 'B' in charge, with the Jackpot at €2,600.

At the AGM Gary Wynne said he neeeded a person to operate the camera for matches. Kit O'Connor did this last year but has become more involved in the camera club and would not be able to committ to Boyle games. There has to be somone who would be interested in serving their time at this.
Why is it that Boyle does not get a relevant F.B.D. game?
While I am, like so many people, aghast at the goings on in the Dail. On an aside it seems as if the R.T.E studios have now taken over from the Dail as there are certain people, at least, constantly on the air. So on March the 11th are we voting for representation as T.Ds' or on R.T.E?
